VIOLA PDO MOLDING COGLYFT uses a combination of an 18G/19G blunt cannula and a molded cog thread. Molding Coglyft threads are made by being pressured into the specially designed molds without being damaged. In this way, our molding Coglyft threads show superior tensile strength and anchoring effect compared to the regular cutting type cog threads.

 

Regular folding type Coglyft threads, which are frequently used, have a sponge on the cannula that is holding the smooth part of the barbed thread. The thread inside the cannula is placed underneath the skin as the cannula moves forward with insertion.
