VIOLA COBRA COGLYFT uses a blunt cannula to carefully insert an absorbable barbed thread to a deep, subcutaneous layer of skin. Cobra Cogs is a another barbed PDO thread used by the Viola Coglyft. The Cobra Cog is a dual-layer cutting method of PDO suture that ensures a stronger anchoring effect of the skin than the regular slice cutting barbed threads. 

 

The regular folding type Coglyft threads contain a sponge on the cannula, holding the smooth end of the barbed thread. The thread inside the cannula is placed underneath the skin as the cannula is inserted.
